Bits and Pieces

Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting to welcome home my sister and her boyfriend who have been travelling for eight months. He has a beard and she has a flip flop tan.
This weekend also brought my new Mociun t shirt which I wore to test out my new necklaces. And my sister got me a kiwi bird charm from New Zealand which I love.

Flowers to welcome home my sister and her boyfriend, who have been travelling for nine months. I can't wait to see them.

Lime green chrysanthemum; white freesia;, pink, green and white carnations and a spray of gypsophila. I had never seen carnations in that mint green colour before, but think they are beautiful.

Spring is here

Spring is finally here. Muscari have seeded themselves all over our garden. Next door's magnolia is leaning over the fence. Papery lemon tulips open in the day and close up at dusk.

I just launched my etsy shop, tfortexas. After lots of experimenting with braiding, beading and knotting techniques I have a little collection I'm really happy with. So far it's just bracelets but necklaces are on the way...
